Accounting, invoicing and controlling for farms and installations is our core business. We also closely monitor the risks. Example: when energy prices rise, invoicing intervals can be important. Not settling revenues with a contracting party on time becomes too great a risk. Thanks to our good relationships with PPA parties, we’re able to reduce risks – despite existing contracts.
Another example: we monitor and compare your energy system’s output against the predicted revenue. In doing so, we also check whether the meter is sending the correct production data to the grid operator and the control body CertiQ. A metering hiccup could jeopardise the socioeconomic security (no SDE payment) of your farm, so it’s better to anticipate.
Many generation and storage installations have a long-term PPA contract with a fixed price. A fixed rate of return remains important, of course. However, nowadays more is needed to generate those returns than just a PPA. Our advisers guide asset owners in these decisions.
