Our story
We are Klaer. A new name since 2023, but certainly not a new player. We have years of experience as a service partner for large-scale renewable energy assets, working with investors and owners across the energy sector.
Today, Klaer has 1.7 GWp under management, including more than 60 solar parks, 30 MWp of rooftop solar and three BESS systems. Our portfolio includes landmark projects such as the world’s largest solar carport in Biddinghuizen and the green energy system with battery storage in Terneuzen.
We get the most out of green assets. That is what drives us every day. That is why we continuously invest in knowledge and in our people. We are present on site and provide boots on the ground for all our clients. We know the local environment, maintain relationships with public and semi-public authorities, regulatory bodies and local residents, and provide all services under one roof. We manage assets from an administrative, technical and commercial perspective, organise maintenance and advise on how to achieve the best possible performance. This keeps green energy systems in top technical and financial condition.
We look beyond a single type of asset. The energy systems of the future will combine generation, conversion, storage and networks, including closed distribution systems and smart hubs. That means we no longer think in separate categories such as solar parks or batteries. Effective asset management requires knowledge of, and attention to, the entire system.
