Accounting, invoicing and controlling for parks and installations is our core activity. Alongside that, we keep a close eye on risk. Take an example. When energy prices rise, invoicing intervals can start to matter. Not settling revenues with a contract party on time then becomes too big a risk. Thanks to our strong relationships with PPA parties, we reduce that risk, even under existing contracts.
Another example. We monitor and compare the output of the energy system against forecasted yield. We also check whether the meter is sending the correct production data, both to the grid operator and to the certification body CertiQ. A fault in the metering can put a park’s SDE subsidy, and with it its financial viability, at risk. Anticipating is better than reacting.
Many generation and storage installations run on a long-term PPA with a fixed price. A stable return remains important, of course. But that return is increasingly built from more than just a PPA.
