Optimising assets
We’re glad to advise on keeping the energy project running at its best. We analyse the financial options, identify opportunities to improve network performance and review existing contracts. We also use smart models to look ahead based on data, giving insight into energy prices, weather changes and the condition of the installation, so we can adjust at the right moment.
We start with monitoring the installations. Ultimately, asset management is also data management: are all the settings right? We check the inverter setpoints and set up project documentation, so optimisation efforts are properly recorded. From there, we start the analysis cycles that inform advice on optimisation opportunities: technical, commercial and financial.

We keep a close eye on risk. Detailed reporting on the technical health of the installation lets us flag and analyse problems early. We check the soiling sensors, for example, to see if it’s time for a clean.
From a commercial perspective, we look closely at PPAs. Is long-term certainty the priority? Then it’s worth hedging invoicing risk against price fluctuations.
Want to make use of energy market opportunities? A dynamic energy contract makes it possible to respond to the energy and imbalance markets for a higher return. Together with our partners, we provide access to these markets and advise on a smart energy strategy.
We can help on the tax side too. One example: grazing sheep on a solar park. This dual land use can lower the WOZ property tax assessment. Administration is covered as well: how can IT systems be synchronised to deliver exactly the reporting that’s needed?
