Healthy assets
Our technical management colleagues monitor your energy system using data and in person, on site. If we identify a problem, we take action immediately. Needless to say, we prefer to avoid corrective maintenance.
Most of the work happens periodically and is prevention based. Thanks to our extensive maintenance portfolio, the managed energy systems give us a lot of data. This data increasingly helps us predict when a component will show defects. The advantage? We replace the bolts on turbines when there’s no wind and we install new inverters in winter. This keeps your power system producing at maximum output.
Our technicians are trained in all parts of the installation: high and low voltage, electrical and mechanical. So when it comes to torque checks on structural bolts, checking and replacing cables, inverters, transformers and switch systems, your installation is in good hands.
We inspect the safety of solar roof systems against SCOPE-12 and carry out both Initial Special Inspections (EBI) and Periodic Inspections (PI). This gives you and your insurer certainty that the system meets all the safety requirements.
An key aspect of maintenance is, of course, spare parts management and warranties. Klaer coordinates management and structures warehousing. As a result, we maintain the best possible quality and reduce response times where possible.
However, some things simply can’t be planned or controlled. Environmental factors have a big impact. Are there dry peat bogs or birds in the area, for example? Then we’ll coordinate the cleaning, making things easier for the investor on that point too.
On solar farms, green maintenance is particularly important – and not just for returns. As good neighbours, we need to keep your farm tidy. Waterways, green walls, dead hedges… we maintain those too. Biodiversity is also important, we arrange contracts for grazing sheep. Our management factors in vegetation varieties and accessibility for animals such as small game.
