The Dutch Climate Agreement contains specific challenges for the residents and businesses in your municipality. What we do
Novar realises major energy projects. We are the market leader in solar farms on land, we install solar panels on buildings and we develop grid congestion and energy storage solutions etc. We also generate sustainable heat and hydrogen. We always strive for cohesion between various types of green energy and harmony with the local environment. We have the specific expertise that authorities need to become sustainable. Novar combines a proactive and determined approach with maximum participation: we involve residents with plans from the first sketch for each new energy project. We design all projects in partnership with residents, local businesses and other stakeholders. This ensures that every new solar farm blends into the local living environment and nature and fits with the existing plans of the municipality and provincial government. We always work in partnership with the local area and realise specific projects to achieve climate targets.
When we develop solar farms, we prefer to work in partnership with energy co-operatives. We strongly believe in the capacity of collective local initiatives to make the world more sustainable while making a positive impact close to home. We work together with energy co-operatives as equal partners. All parties, both public and private, benefit and share the risks together.
